‘I Don’t Love You Anymore’ is a gentle, cinematic new track from folk duo lilo. It opens with soft, distant acoustic guitar chords that introduce an Americana-influenced sound, reminiscent of the most nostalgic early Bon Iver tracks. It builds into something more ethereal, with glowing harmonies and a building texture leading towards an emotional climax underpinned by lap steel guitar countermelodies. The track is “about telling someone who loves you very much that you want to break up with them. It opens with the clocks changing over on New Year's Eve, as I realised that I knew how I felt, but didn’t want to admit it, even to myself.
